Nothing says downtown NYC like a microphone, a stool, a brick wall and a comedian. Stand up comedy has been a staple of Village nightlife for decades! The newly expanded New York Comedy Club is proud to join the thriving arts and entertainment scene in the East Village, building on our strong presence at our flagship location in Gramercy.
Tayler Yarish is a NYC based comedian. He’s been a featured performer at multiple comedy festivals including SLO Comedy Festival, Baltimore Comedy Festival, and Charm City Comedy Festival. He hosts a weekly podcast called The Tayler Yarish Show.
Ben Kirschenbaum is a New York stand-up comedian and writer who currently lives ten blocks away from where he grew up. In his early twenties, he mustered up the courage to move to Chicago to pursue his dream of performing at Second City. Once he discovered that improv repels women, Ben moved back to his hometown. He’s written for MTV, Clickhole, and seriouslyTV. Ben performs all over New York and headlines across the country.
Ja-Ron Young is a New York based comedian and actor. Originally from Philadelphia, Ja-Ron moved to New York to study theatre and fell in love with Stand Up Comedy 5 years ago. Since they’ve been going steady, Ja-Ron has been in The Cinderblock Comedy Festival in Brooklyn, a Semifinalist in the Stand Up New York Festival, and a finalist in both The Trial By Laughter Festival in Indianapolis and now the New York Comedy Club Competition. He also runs a monthly show called “6 Pack At Brit Pack” with Stewie Vill and it’s still going strong after 3 long years. Ja-Ron also writes and produces sketches with “The Unusual Culprits”: a crew that consists of comics Lee Valentine, Mario Benitez, Juan Escalante and the aforementioned Stewie Vill.
Juan is a stand up comedian, writer and occasional nude model. His comedy has been described as "Larry David meets Sofia Vergara", a thing he takes as a big compliment. He is a long time writer and performer at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater and a former on screen talent for FLAMA, Univision's bilingual digital platform where his viral videos were viewed over 20 million times. He has written for McSweeney's and his work was featured in Huffington Post, BuzzFeed, Latina Magazine, Time Out NY and The New York Times. He is originally from Uruguay (the other Paraguay).

Laura Sogar is a former professional swimmer who failed to make the Olympics and handles it by telling jokes on the streets of NYC. She runs a podcast Risque Business News where she talks shit about the business world and hosts Don’t Tell Comedy a “secret” comedy show featuring top talent from across the city.
Dan Pulzello is a rising New York stand-up comic who recently appeared on Amazon Prime's "Game Breakers." He has performed across the United States and has also taken his act internationally to England, Ireland, Canada, the Netherlands, Germany, and the Adelaide Fringe Festival. He performs regularly at New York Comedy Club, the Tiny Cupboard, Westside Comedy Club, the Grisly Pear Eastville Comedy Club, Stone Street Comedy Club, and others. His comedy series, "EU VS USA," has found success online, with over 100 million views across Instagram and TikTok. In addition to his work as a performer, Dan has written comedy content for National Geographic, NASA, and IBM, along with other faceless corporations.
